Coba baca nih
#1
Markus 2:28
Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
https://biblehub.com/mark/2-28.htm
Lalu lihat bahasa yunaninya
κύριος = kyrios
https://biblehub.com/interlinear/mark/2-28.htm
Kata κύριος diterjemahkan menjadi Lord kapital L
#2
Trus bandingkan dgn ini :
Matius 10:25
It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
Lihat di
https://biblehub.com/text/matthew/10-25.htm
Kemudian perhatikan kata kurios di sana. https://biblehub.com/interlinear/matthew/10-25.htm
Apa terjemahan di sana ? Master atau lord, kan, dgn huruf kecil? Kata lord-nya pake huruf kecil, padahal berasal dari huruf Yunani yg sama yaitu κύριος
Oke, kita lihat apa yg Wiki tulis :
Like Latin and Cyrillic, Greek originally had only a single form of each letter; it developed the letter case distinction between uppercase and lowercase forms in parallel with Latin during the modern era.
Lihat di https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_alphabet
Jadi huruf Yunani di bible tuh pake huruf Yunani kuno. Adapun huruf Yunani modern memang terjadi perubahan shg punya upper dan lowercase.
Originally the Bible was written in all capital letters without punctuation, accent marks, or spaces between the words. John 1:1 began, ΕΝΑΡΧΗΗΝΟΛΟΓΟΣ. Capital letters, or “majuscules,” were used until the sixth century A.D. (“Uncials” are a form of capital letters.) “Cursive” script is like our handwriting where the letters are joined together and is also called “minuscule.” Cursive script was created before the time of Christ but became popular in the ninth (9th) century A.D. In Greek texts today, John 1:1 begins, ̓Εν ἀρχῇ ἦν ὁ λόγος.
Jadi seluruh ayat perjanjian baru berbahasa Yunani di manuskrip acuan, semuanya memakai huruf besar.
Masih belum yakin kalau huruf Yunani di bible tdk membedakan huruf kecil ataupun besar? Lihat manuskrip aslinya http://codexsinaiticus.org/en/manuscript.aspx?dir=prev&folioNo=5&lid=en&quireNo=77&side=r&zoomSlider=0
Yg lucu ini nih :
Yohanes 4:19
“Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet.
https://alkitab.app/v/0ca35b173dfe
atau di http://alkitab.sabda.org/bible.php?book=Yoh&chapter=4
Wualah.. kata “sir” diterjemahkan jadi Tuhan..hehehe…maksa banget 😂😂
